Max calls next day. Her father is in the enamel bath and geyser line. Max is making love; a customer enters. Girlie hides Max in portable shower bath. Enter father, who is a good salesman. Subject: Max Linder, forgotten pantomime genius
Never heard of Linder before this. What a great performer he was. It's sad that he & his wife killed themselves in a suicide pact in 1925. Check wikipedia for a more complete bio.
